RWD collaborated with Maymont to design interpretive signage for the Maymont Farm, a well-loved corner of the 100-acre historic estate and park. The farm’s barn is a bustling hub of visitor activity, as well as home to goats, sheep, chickens, domestic rabbits, donkeys, cows, pigs and horses.

The signage RWD fashioned for the barn offers not only informative insights, but also the opportunity to explore the menagerie of animals housed in the facility through hands-on activities. The designs even address practical concerns, by including a hand-washing station for guests to use after interacting with animals. All the signage is complementary of Maymont’s branding and embraces the barn’s rustic-yet-refined aesthetic.
