Riggs Ward in Atlanta for AAM

aam_boothThe Riggs Ward booth is up and running at the 2015 AAM Expo Hall! As frequent visitors to Atlanta, we are familiar with the city and look forward to the many events and networking opportunities planned for the next three days. In the four years we have been working on projects at the Atlanta History Center, we have come to know more and more about the rich history of this city. With the fantastic staff at AHC, Riggs Ward is designing new exhibits set to open March 2016. There are many stories to share about Atlanta that promote values of democracy, civic participation and inclusivity. Come by Booth #1026 and talk with Principal Brent Ward and Associate Helen Wallace MacDonald  about connecting people to the history and culture of this fine metropolis.

Riggs Ward attended the kick-off party at the High Museum of Art last night and heard keynote speaker, Dr. Johnnetta Betsch Cole, give an impressive speech about diversity and inclusion in the US and around the world. RWD will also be present at various sessions that are directly connected to the museum exhibition field. If you are not able to visit with us throughout the day, please find us at the following evening events:

  • NAME Party at the College Football Hall of Fame (Go Virginia Union!)
  • Atlanta History Center’s Meet the Past Progressive Dinner
  • SEMC evening event at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History

We are looking forward to discussions on Inspiring Change and what the future holds for our industry. The social value of museums has never been more alive than it is right now; we are seeing expansions across the globe change the visitor experience. There is so much to learn within museums and we love to be a part of it.

Riggs Ward is giving away a special gift this year—come to Booth #1026 to find out why the future’s so bright!
