Riggs Ward Design worked with New Orleans Jazz Museum to design a temporary exhibit that celebrates Louis Prima’s life and legacy. The exhibition, coincided with the 50th anniversary of the Jazz and Heritage Festival, and encompassed 1,500 square feet of gallery space and include performance costumes, records, sheet music, jewelry, and references to Prima’s work with Disney. RWD also included multiple interactives including a listening station and dance floor and karaoke booth. The listening station allows multiple visitors to enjoy Louis Prima’s records through headphones and the dance floor includes instructional videos. The karaoke booth acts as an isolated recording both where visitors can interact and karaoke performances can be recorded.
