Riggs Ward worked with Roanoke Island Festival Park to enhance the existing 9,500 square foot Roanoke Adventure Museum. Riggs Ward updated topical content, assisted with implementing "family learning" concepts into the overall museum experience and increased the diversity, frequency and quality of hands-on and interactive exhibits. Riggs Ward also produced the "Planning to cross The Atlantic" interactive. Visitors are given the opportunity, by Sir Walter Raleigh, to set up a new colony in North America. Their colony's success depends on them correctly answering enough questions to prepare in England, cross The Atlantic, and finally establish a colony on Roanoke Island.
