JA Career Center
RWD worked with Junior Achievement of Central Virginia to create the JA Career Center, an exhibition space that empowers young people to take control of their own economic success and plan for the future. The exhibits provide local middle and high school students with resources that will help them attain their educational or career goals. While in the JA Career Center, students are encouraged to explore one of eight “Career Compass” interactive monitors to gain more insight on education, financial planning, or potential career paths; work with other students at the centralized tactile table; realize a new topic of interest based on a data visualization of industry trends in the region; or participate in group discussions about interview etiquette and entrepreneurship. RWD designed, developed, programmed, and installed all of the informational graphics, interactive programs, and tactile experiences within the space.
