RWD worked with the Southern Poverty Law Center to design and program new interactive experiences at the Civil Rights Memorial Center. Two interactive monitors at the Memorial overlook invite visitors to explore the biographies of those who lost their lives in the struggle for freedom during the Civil Rights Movement. As the interactive is touched, visitors can select an image of a martyr to view his or her related biography, image, and engraving location on the Memorial below. A multi-user map table in the center of the space allows visitors to view information about the events that took place during the modern Civil Rights Movement. Visitors search the interactive table by date to view supporting imagery, text, video, and animations for events that have occurred throughout the Southeastern United States.
